The fifth season started with an almighty challenge for Duncan. Up against his main rival Colin "Fishfinger" Craggs, in the pouring rain. With sheer determination Duncan sneaked ahead on the last lap, only to to pipped at the post by outsider Vincent le Carr on his Honda.
"I was gutted" quoted Duncan. "I was hoping for a flying start to the season, but it was not to be".
